Busy or Free ("the App") is developed by Front Row ("we", "us", "our"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data the App accesses and how it is handled.
Calendar Data
The App uses Apple's EventKit framework to read and modify calendar event data on your device. Specifically, it reads the availability status (busy/free) of all-day events and allows you to change that status.
All calendar data is processed entirely on your device. No calendar data is collected, stored, transmitted, or shared with us, any third party, or any server. The App does not have a backend server and does not make network requests related to your calendar data.
Data Collection
We do not collect any data. Specifically:
- No personal information is collected
- No usage analytics or telemetry
- No third-party analytics SDKs
- No advertising or tracking
- No cookies or similar technologies
- No data is sent to external servers
Subscriptions
The App offers an optional auto-renewable subscription managed entirely through Apple's App Store. Payment processing, receipt validation, and subscription management are handled by Apple. We do not have access to your payment information, Apple ID, or billing details.
On-Device Storage
The App stores a small amount of preference data on your device using Apple's standard UserDefaults system. This includes your selected calendar preferences and whether you have used the free scan. This data stays on your device and is not transmitted anywhere.
Children's Privacy
The App does not collect any data from any user, including children under 13. Because no data is collected, no special provisions for children's data are necessary.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
